Weekend Worths Malacca

May 11, 2009

April 18/19th, me and my friends visited Malacca. the first idea was to visit an interesting place nearby Singapore. cheap and can be conquered by 2 days, for only a weekend. Decided, Malacca.

This place belongs to Malaysia.  we went by bus, only cost of 35 sgd, returns. it took you 4hours from singapore to reach this tiny UNESCO-heritage place. We have a theme for this time travel, fashion of our own and photography. hehehe… 4 hours in bus, we spent on preparing the make up for the model, which was ourselves;) Siska rolled as the make up artist. all together were 5 persons of us, me, siska, frieska, pikok and welly ( the senior… “whispering”)

on the way, the bus stopped for a lunch drop in a food stop. we had kaya ball there.

Malacca is really hot. the temperature exactly. it’s best to have a walk tour here. you can try this Cendol Jam Besar. Malacca is proud for their traditional drink, Cendol. Tho, we have it also in Indonesia. firstly, i was surprised that Malacca also got cendol. but may be because it’s still in the scope area of what we call as Malaya.. then, it’s normal to find many similar thing, even for this so refreshing drink. yupyup, it’s located righ infront of the Christ Church, only for 1,40 RM aor about 0,8 sgd!
